Journeys in Movement is run by Joy Packard – founder, director and practitioner. After discovering and training with the pioneering California-based Tamalpa Institute, Joy saw an opportunity to deliver the institutes techniques and theories to the UK, harnessing the potential of the artistic process and using it to address tangible problems in everyday lives.
The guiding purpose of Tamalpa is to “explore and respond to the question of how the expressive arts might contribute to a more embodied, creative, and participatory world in which art as a healing force is fostered”.
